About Us
Bob and Judy became involved in organic farming after Judy inherited the house and land from her Aunt. It was part of what had been a dairy farm since the early fifties when her Aunt and Uncle brought their herd from Arizona. They were proud to be a Carnation Dairy. The dairy ceased operations in the sixties and the herd was sold. The land was used occasionally for grazing and some was leased for crop growing until the eighties when it went fallow until 1999.

A lone heifer was the sole occupant until 2002 when Bob and Judy planted their first crop to determine if the land was suitable for farming. They discovered it was very rich and tillable land. The crop was given away in 2002 and 2003 while experimenting. They decided to obtain an organic certification and go into the farming business. They are looking forward to their fourth year of offering organic vegetables, herbs and flowers at their community supported agriculture (CSA). Honey will also be available but can't be labeled organic due to certification distance issues.
